Alain Goraguer (1931-2023) is one of the most successful French film composers of all time. CAM Sugar proudly features his most notable and celebrated compositions in its catalogue.

Among them stands out the psychedelic animated masterpiece 'La Planète Sauvage,' one of the most sampled soundtracks of all time. In recent years, the acclaim for 'La Planète Sauvage' has grown both for the film and its soundtrack, now an absolute cult gem revered by new generations. Artists from the rap or hip-hop culture such as A$ap Mob, Madlib, Mac Miller, and many others have immersed themselves in it for samples or remixes. In 2023, in honor of its 50th anniversary, CAM Sugar presented a new deluxe edition of the soundtrack, mixed from the recently discovered multitrack tapes, which includes 7 previously unreleased tracks and 3 alternate mixes, all under the expert supervision of Patrick Goraguer, the composer's son.
